ABOUT US
Next2 Advisors is an independent company established in 2019 by Luca Agostini and Fabrizio Meo, both professionals with vast and recognised experience working for Italian and international financial institutions specialised in asset management and investment banking.
Luca Agostini
He began his professional career in 1991 in London, working for Minerva Consulting Ltd., a company offering capital market consultancy and training services .
In 1996 he joined the Italian Stock Exchange Board in Milan (later to become “Borsa Italiana S.p.A.”) as Joint Head of the Equity Derivatives Market Division.
In 1998 he returned to London where he joined Schroders’ Equity Derivative Sales Department, and at the start of 2000 he was made Head of the Italian Corporate Derivatives team at Citigroup.
In September 2001 he joined the Equity Capital Markets team at Goldman Sachs, and in 2003 he opened the Italian branch of the Nexgen Group (now Natixis Corporate Solutions).
In 2005 he joined Barclays Capital with the aim of expanding the company’s European Strategic Equity business, and in 2008 he became Head of Investment Banking for Italy.
Since 2012 he has worked as a consultant with various companies and institutions (MainStreet Partners, Eidos Partners, Fondaco SGR, Fondazione Compagnia di Sanpaolo, Fondazione Lucca), and in 2019 he co-founded Next2 Advisors.
Fabrizio Meo
He began his career in 1993 at Banca Commerciale Italiana in a high potential training programme.
In 1995 he joined Co.Ge.F Sim, a company owned by Banca Commerciale Italiana, Assicurazioni Generali and Flemings Asset Management, specialised in the management of pension assets.
Between 1997 and 2004 he held various positions in the Institutional Business Development & Sales departments of Crédit Agricole Indosuez, Schroders Investment Management and Franklin Templeton.
In 2004 he was appointed CEO of ING Investment Management Italia, where he remained until 2012.
Subsequently he joined Tages Capital SGR as Head of Sales & Marketing for alternative liquid and illiquid investment solutions, notably hedge funds.
From 2014 on he was in charge of the launching and fundraising operations of the Tages Helios I and II AIFs, and in June 2019 he co-founded Next2 Advisors.
